Combining family and career
To make it easier for our employees to combine family and work, BMA got involved in setting up the Kinder-Werk crèche in 2009. This project is jointly run with the Braunschweig region’s employers’ association, the BLSK/Nord LB bank, the Öffentliche Versicherung insurance company, and eck*cellent IT GmbH and HUP AG.
Together with AWO Braunschweig, the charity who runs the crèche, more than 12 companies are today engaged in this childcare project, which is unique in Germany. Its main focus is the running of a company crèche. Whenever childcare places become vacant, they are available to interested companies for their staff.

Around 100 technicians, designers and engineers in the BMA Group have in-depth knowledge of food technology and process engineering. At our head office in Braunschweig and BMA sites across the globe, we develop, design, manufacture and build a broad range of innovative machinery, apparatus and equipment, including even entire process steps or sugar factories. We supply technology for the key components of the sugar process – from start to finish.

Right in the heart of Braunschweig
BMA’s head office is also the BMA Group’s biggest site. It has been in the heart of Braunschweig right from the start. Many of our employees need not even ten minutes to get to work. And it only takes them five minutes to go for a stroll in a nearby park. The pedestrianised historic city centre is also within easy reach on foot.
